BENTON, Robert Elmo
 

Robert Elmo Benton, 70, of East Ninth Street, Paris, formerly of Richmond, died Wednesday, April 22, 1998 at Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.

He was a native of Madison County, and the son of the late Luther and Rosa Bicknell Benton.

Survivors are two brothers, James C. Benton , of Richmond and Luther B. Benton, of Columbus, GA; one sister, Eva (Steven)Elam, of Paris; and several nieces and nephews. Burial was in the Richmond Cemetery.
