Martha Saylor
Caldwell Baldwin, 82, of Middlesboro, died Wednesday, March 24, 2004
following an illness. She was a Harlan County native born Feb. 5, 1922
daughter of the late Jonathan and Delia Caldwell Saylor, homemaker, and
member of the Pentecostal Faith.
Survivors
include her husband, Marion Baldwin of Middlesboro; 8 children, Elsie
(Hurley) Whitehead, of Speedwell, TN, Phronia (Donald) Howard of Helton,
Bertha (Willis) Miller of Goshen, IN, Shirley (Paul) Broughton of Crab
Orchard, Hazel (Angelo) Middleton of London, James (Lorene) Caldwell of
Crab Orchard, Delia (Preston) McCreary of Crab Orchard, Corbett
(Charlotte) Caldwell, Jr. of Talbott, TN; 3 step children, Bruce
Baldwin, Scott Baldwin both of Crab Orchard, Jean Tillett of Danville; 2
brothers, Eli Saylor of Mt. Vernon, John H. Saylor of Crab Orchard; 4
sisters, Elizabeth Helton, Tishie Belcher both of Stoney Fork, Nora
Malicoat of Talbott, TN, Rosetta Lewis of Crab Orchard; 24
grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; 3
step grandchildren.
In addition
to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Billy Ray Caldwell,
4 brothers, and 1 sister.
Funeral
service 1:00 PM, Friday, March 26, 2004 at Harmons Lick Church of God
with Rev. Nathanel Fugate and Bro. Billy Bryant officiating. Burial will
follow in Stringtown Cemetery. Visitation after 6:00 pm Thursday at the
church. Reppert Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
