Ruth Todd Andis, 81, of Columbus, Ind., died Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, at Silver Oaks Health Campus. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Arthur Andis Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur F. Andis Sr., of Columbus; daughters Barbara Nienaber of Elizabethtown, Ind., Carolyn Wilkerson of Columbus, Nelma Fritsche of Richmond, Lois Anderson of Munster, Ind. and Rebecca Patton of Tuscola, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; sisters Bettie Scheidt of Columbus, Ind., and Norma Tays of Columbia, S.C.

Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 26 at Myers Funeral Service in Columbus, Ind., from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the 1 p.m. funeral. Burial will follow at the Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, Ind.
