Alice Abney age 102 of Morrill, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2004 at her home.

Alice was born in Knox County, Kentucky to the late Henry and Cordellia Warren Gambrel. She was a homemaker and a member of the holiness faith.

She is survived by her daughter Irma Thomas of Morrill, one sister Roxie Shorter; one granddaughter Sandra Schnitzler; one great granddaughter Teresa Boellecke and one great-great granddaughter Brandi Leann Boellecke.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Matt Profitt and Robert Abney; two sons James Roscoe and John Arther Profitt; one brother and seven sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea with Rev. Bill Rose officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from noon until time of service.
