Effie Francis Kidwell Brock

Effie Frances Kidwell b. 7 Aug 1900 in Big Hill, Madison Co., Ky. She died 16 Dec. 1993 in Wildie, Rockcastle Co., KY.   She married my grandfather; William Walter Brock b. 23 Sep 1897 in Rockcastle Co., Ky. They were married 5 May 1918 in Mt. Vernon. I would love to be back in her kitchen again.   Two words that discribe her are Love and Soft. The picture was taken in Sand Gap, Jackson Co., Ky about 1972. This was in her new kitchen. They had a fire which burned their house to the ground. All was lost.   Neighbors and family built them a new home and furnished it. I know they still do this in KY wouldn't it be a nice world if every place followed this practice of taking care of your neighbor.
