Potter School was a one room 1st thru 6th grade school.  Maybe 8th depending on how many there were.  It was located at POTTERS, KENTUCKY.  About 5 miles north of Lousia on US 23.  The school was last used in the early 60's and was torn down when the new 23 was built.  The second student on the back from the left is Paul Dean Benard (father of the Charles Benard who donated this picture and info to KYGENWEB), third is Milton McGuire and the ninth is Joe McGuire.  Milton and Joe are both dead.  Charles' father will be 87 in July.
