Declaration For Original Invalid Pension
State of Kentucky, Fayette County
On the 27th day of May, A. D. one
thousand eight hundred and eighty nine personally appeared before
me, Clerk of the County Court, a court of record within and for the
County and State aforesaid, Morrison Wilson aged 51 years, a
resident near the town of Carlisle, county of Nicholas, State of
Kentucky, who being duly sworn according to law, declares that he is
the identical Morrison Wilson who was ENROLLED on the 24th day
of March, 1865, in Company "E" of the 119th Regiment of U. S. C.
Infantry commanded by Capt. L. Hussey and was honorably DISCHARGED
at Louisville, Ky. on the 27th day of April, 1866; that his personal
description is as follows: Age 51 years; height 5 feet 5 inches;
complexion, Black; hair, Black; eyes, Black. That while a
member of the organization aforesaid, in the services and in the
line of his duty at Camp Nelson, in the State of Kentucky on or
about the first day of June, 1865, he contracted the disease of
chronic Diarrhea and Piles. That he was treated in hospitals
as follows: at Camp Nelson KY. That he has not been employed
in the military or naval service otherwise than as stated above.
That since leaving the service this applicant has resided in the
Counties of Bath and Nicholas in the State of Kentucky, and his
occupation has been that of a Laborer. That prior to his entry
into the service above named he was a man of good, sound, physical
health, being when enrolled a laborer. That he is now
partially disabled, from, obtaining his subsistence by manual labor
by reason of his injuries, above described, received in the service
of the United States; and he therefore makes this declaration for
the purpose of being placed on the invalid pension roll of the
United States.
He hereby appoints, with full power
of substitution and revocation, Benjamin Gore of Darned Kansas
his true and lawful attorney to prosecute his claim. The he
has not received nor applied for a Pension. That his Post
Office Address is Carlisle county of Nicholas State of Kentucky.

Declaration For Widow's Pension
State of Kentucky
County of Nicholas
On this 18 day of March A. D. one
thousand nine hundred and seven personally appeared before me a
Notary Public for the county and state aforesaid Eliza Wilson, aged
63 years, who being duly sworn accord to law, declares that she is
the widow of Morrison Wilson, who enlisted under the name of
Morrison Wilson at Mt Sterling Ky on the 24 day of March, A. D.
1865, in Company E, 119 Regt U. S. C. Infty and served at least
ninety days in the late of the rebellion, and who was honorably
discharged on the 27th day of April 1866, and died on the 6th day of
March 1907 at Carlisle Kentucky. That she was married under
the name of Eliza Ann Jones to said Morrison Wilson by Rev. Taylor
in Bath County, Ky there being no legal barrier to said marriage.
Parties were married while both were slaves, which marriage was
ratified as here enclosed Certificate of Nicholas County Court
Clerk.
That she has not remarried since the
death of the said Morrison Wilson. That she is without means
of support than her daily labor.
The names and dates of birth of all
the children now living under sixteen years of age of the soldier by
herself are as follows: None
That she has not heretofore applied
for pension.
That her post office address is
