1854 membership included: Samuel, Moses, John, Jane, Patsy, Roma,
Lee and Nancy. No owners’ names shown.
4th Saturday May 1855: Letters of
dismission given to Moses, Roma and Lee, servant men belonging to
Mr. J. S. Barlow
In 1865 John Adams and Samuel died. On 30 Dec 1865,
at a revival (called an protracted meeting), Hannah received. On the
31st, Jane received by experience and baptism.
On 6 Jan 1866 at a protracted meeting, Zerniah
(female) received by experience and baptism.
On the 1867 membership roll was shown John Adams
(excluded 4th Sat in Jan 1867), Hannah, Jane, Zerewire
Campbel. [name spelled various ways]
On 1868 membership roll wee shown: Haner Neal, Henry
Etter Flippin, Jane Neal and Zereward Campbell.
1869 and 1870 same. Next membership roll was for
1874 and showed Hanner Neal lettered off along with Jane Neal.
In 1880 and the only black sister shown was Henry
Etter Flippin.
In 1881, Leonard, a black brother, shown but no last
name shown.
