"The trustees of
the Paris Colored Cemetery Company having proved to
the court, that they have purchased a lot of ground
for said cemetery containing nine acres and have off
& dedicated two acres thereof for a pauper burying
ground for colored paupers, it is ordered that there
be appropriated & paid out of the Levy of 1872 to
said trustees $800.00 paying for the whole of said
lot except the $800.00 hereby appropriated and
guaranteeing to the county of Bourbon the use of
said two acres as a burial ground for colored
paupers."

"Trustees of the
Colored Cemetery Company have paid for 9 acres of
land for a cemetery & have laid off and deeded to
the County of Bourbon two acres thereof for a
colored burying ground .
It is now ordered
that the Treasurer of Bourbon County pay to the
President of the said Cemetery Co. out of the
depositium eight hundred dollars, the amount
appropriated at the Dec. term 1871 of said Court, to
pay for said two acres of land.
Ordered that E
Wyatt be allowed and paid out of the depositum one
hundred & thirty five Dollars, for support of A.
Henderson, the ensuing year.
Ordered that there
be appropriated for Evaline & John Hamilton one
hundred & fifty dollars, for their support the
ensuing year, to be paid out of the depositum & be
placed in the hands of J. T. Barlow.
