Crenshaw in 1812. The Bible was in the possession of Mrs. Walter
Browning, a great-great niece of Washington Slemmons. In the family

sixth child, Leathy Jane was born July 16th 1868.
Cageniel Alexander Huffman (seventh child) was born July 2, 1869.
Hulet Huffman and Eliza (the
black woman) were married December 26, 1853.
