This day JOSEPH PULLIAM ....qualified to act according to the within order. Pg 446 Know all men...that I RACHEL LINDSEY of the county of Allen Commonwealth of Kentucky y have ... for the natural love and affection which I have .. to my son SOLOMON LINDSEY of the county of Bedford and state of Virginia and the further consideration of one dollar ...and whereas SOLOMON HANDY late of the county of Bedford aforesaid in the state of Virginia decd on the 12th day of November 1824 make his last will ... devised to the said RACHEL LINDSEY the one fifth part of his estates ....Now by virtue of the power vested in me by sd will .... I do ... deliver to said SOLOMON LINDSEY the following named property towit one negroe woman by the name of SALLY about 22 years of age and her child a boy about two weeks old ....
