DAWSON, WILLIAM PULLIAM, JOHN S. GIBSON and JOS. PULLIAM be
appointed commissioners.....shall assign to POLLY CUSENBERRY widow
of ELIJAH CUSENBERRY deceased her dower in the land and negroes
of the estate of her said husband and also to make partition of the
negroes of the estate between the heirs.........Oct. 31, 1825

according to the within order. Dec. 31, 1825........assign to the
said POLLY CUSENBERRY one third part of the slaves belonging

deceased did some few years before his death execute a deed of gift
for one of the negros a boy called LEWIS.....to ELIJAH
WICKWARE his grandson.....assign to POLLY CUSENBERRY widow of said
ELIJAH CUSENBERRY decd one negroe boy by the name of TIM and one
negroe girl by name of SARAH ..... commissioners are of opinion
that it is not practical to divide the ballance of the slaves
among the legatees anything like equal without resorting to a

KNOW all men ... That I WILLIAM OLIVER of the county of Allen and
state of Kentucky have manumited and set free ... a negro man
slave named WILL and I hereby declare him the said WILL to be
entirely liberated from slavery and entitleyd to all the right and
privileges of a free person ... is a man of darck complexion about
five feet eight inches high between fifty-five and sixty years old
