Violet Tuggle Burnett Mrs. Violet Tuggle Burnett, 92, of Heidrick, passed away Wednesday morning, April 10, 2002 in the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was the daughter of the late Will and Laura Deaton Tuggle, born on April 9,1910 in Knox County. Mrs. Burnett was a former homemaker and member of the Heidrick Holiness Church. She united in marriage with Everett Burnett and to this union four children were born. Survivors include one daughter, Claudia Jones and husband Ted; one son, Don Burnett and wife Mary, all of Corbin; eight grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services were conducted in the chapel of the Knox Funeral Home Friday, April 12 with the Rev. Terry Fletcher, Dr. Fred Garmon and the Rev. Tommy Frazier officiating. Mrs. Burnett was laid to rest in the Barbourville Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Knox Funeral Home. |
