Arliss BUELL Arliss Edward "Eddie" Buell, 57, of Flat Lick, died on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006 at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. Eddie was born Dec. 30, 1948 in Bell County, the son of the late Andrew and Mattie North Buell. He was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church. He was a bookkeeper for VM&M Mining Company and a Vietnam veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Paul Wayne; a sister, Sandra, a sister-in-law, Patricia and a nephew, Skip. Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Smith Buell of Flat Lick, two brothers, Andy Buell of Four Mile and Danny Buell and wife Brenda of Barbourville, a sister, Francis Hinkle and husband Leon of Flat Lick; three nephews, Mike, Chuck and Stevie Buell, two nieces, LeAnn and Cody. Funeral services were Friday, Dec. 29, 2006 at Hopper Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ricky Broughton and Rev. Larry Joe Sizemore officiating. Interment followed in the Houston-Broughton Cemetery with Mike Buell, Robert Lane, Scott Broughton, Tanner Broughton, Kevin Broughton and Larry Marler serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Denver and Sue Jackson and all employees of VM&M Mining Company. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
