Jeffery Allen BROWN Jeffery Allen Brown, 29, of Swan Pond, Barbourville, passed away Tuesday morning, April 11, 2006 in the Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was a son of Jack Allen and Effie Hubbard Brown born on April 11, 1977 in Barbourville. Jeffery was a member of Swan Pond Baptist Church and was a very loving son, brother and friend. He enjoyed farming, deer hunting, fishing and talking with friends. Preceding him in death were his grandfathers, Albert Hubbard and McKinley Brown; his grandmother, Pearlie Smith Hubbard and two Uncles, James and Dewey Hubbard. Survivors include his beloved parents, Jack Allen and Effie Hubbard Brown of Swan Pond; a dear loving sister, Jackie Brown Johnson and husband Steve, of Swan Pond; a nephew, Tylor Steven Johnson of Swan Pond; a dear grandmother, Maxine Hampton Brown of Swan Pond; a special great uncle, Iville Brown of Swan Pond; his aunts and uncles, Berthel Blankenship, Gladys and Phillip Smith, Elinor Warren, Mary Hubbard, Carl and Billie Hubbard, Gailia and Leroy Lankford, Lonnie and Virginia Hubbard, all of Barbourville, James McKinley and Gail Brown of Bethel, Ohio and Geneva Hubbard of Louisville; a great uncle, Shade R. Brown of Cincinnati, Ohio; his cousins, Patricia Owens, Chuckie Owens, Vickie Stearman and Kellie, Mark, Helen and Chrystal Hubbard, Brenda and Tim Mills, Chris, Brandie and Madison Mills, Justin Mills, Carolyn Blankenship, Debbie Lankford, Marie Hubbard, Lois Hubbard, Josh Hubbard, Terry, Kristine and Samantha Hubbard, Mike Hubbard, Ethan Hubbard, Buddy Hubbard, Missy Crispo, Stevie Crispo, Amber Riggs, Amy and Jeff Smith, Courtney Smith, Andrew Smith, Timothy Smith, Carl Dewayne Hubbard Jr., Dewayne and Pamela Hubbard and James Wesley Brown; and a host of family and friends who mourn his passing. His funeral service was conducted in Knox Funeral Home Chapel Friday, April 14 at 2 p.m. with the Revs. Denvil Taylor and Ray West officiating. Jeffery was laid to rest in the Faulkner Chapel Cemetery at Swan Pond. Casketbearers were Jeff Smith, Lonnie Hubbard, Bill Oxendine, Michael Hubbard, Chuckie Owens, Shannon Browning, James Wesley Brown, Carl Dewayne Hubbard Jr. and Frank Jackson. Honorary bearers were Dr. Charles Stargel, Dr. John Blankenship, Dr. David Worthy, Dr. Stephen Toadvine, the staff at Barbourville Family Health Center, the ER nurses at Knox County Hospital and all members of the Swan Pond Baptist Church.
