James K. WILSON Services were conducted in loving memory of James K. Wilson, a resident of Pineville, Ky., who passed away Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007 at the St. Joseph East Lexington, Ky. He was born Feb. 29, 1935 in Barbourville, Ky., the son of the late Jack Wilson and Lillian Parrott Wilson. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Pineville. He was a retired Pineville Community Hospital Administrator, past president of the Kentucky Hospital Association, board member of the Kentucky Mtn. Laurel Festival, member of the UK Alumni Association, and member of the Elks Club at the time of his death. He was 71-years-old. He is survived by the following members of his family: His wife Pat Wilson, Pineville, Ky.; son Greg Wilson, Lawrenceburg, Ky.; stepson, Randy Chambers, Greenville, S.C.; daughter, Jennifer Black, Louisville, Ky.; five grandchildren, Hannah Wilson, Andrew and Hayley Black, Will and Elizabeth Chambers and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 at the Creech- Durham Funeral Home, Pineville, Ky. with Rev. Shawn Baker, Elizabeth and Randy Chambers speaking. Music was provided by Linda Amon; burial followed in the Harrogate Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Evans, Glen Roark, Killen Fisher, Freddy Joe Ditty, Dennis Smith, Matt Asher. Honorary pallbearers were the class of 1953 Barbourville City School. |
