Mossie Saylor Snyder Corbin October 12, 2003 Mossie Saylor Snyder, 92, of Corbin, passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2003 at Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. She was born March 24, 1911 in Knox County, a daughter to the late Cal Saylor and the late Catherine Gross Saylor. She was a member of the McHargue Christian Church. She was united in marriage to the late Fred Snyder in 1934. She was also preceded in death by one infant son, Oral James Snyder; four loving sisters, Phoebie Harris, Chola Tuley, Martha Butner and Fonnie Saylor; and two brothers, Arthur and Willie Saylor. She is survived by four sons, Fred Snyder and wife Stella of Louisville, Chet Snyder and wife Vickie of Corbin, Dean Snyder and wife Sharron of Corbin and Earl Snyder and wife Ohler of Corbin; one faithful sister, Edna Hendel of Middletown, Ohio; 16 wonderful grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003 at the Corbin Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Bobby Joe Eaton, Rev. Carl Ray Felts and Rev. Randall Lee officiating. Burial will be in the McHargue Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today Tuesday at the Corbin Funeral Home.
