| ALTA E. SMITH 77, of Lenoir City, Tenn., formerly of Knox County, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2000 at St. Josephs Hospital in Atlanta. Funeral services were held in the Click Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dick DeMerchant officiating. Burial followed in the Lake View Cemetery.
