Hazel Marie Shelton Hazel Marie Shelton, 69, of Girdler, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004 in Knox County Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Pearly Sproles. Her husband, Lee Roy Shelton, preceded her in death. She was a member of Hughes Hill Holiness Church and a homemaker. She is survived by seven sons, Harold Edward Shelton, Michael Lee Shelton and wife Joan, Johnny Ray Shelton, Kenneth Wayne Shelton and James Bert Shelton and wife Jessica, William Wesley Shelton and wife Lisa and Thomas Eugene Shelton and wife Patsy; one sister, Norma Jean Smith and husband Chris; one brother, James Sproles and wife Mary; 16 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services were conducted Monday, Dec. 27, 2004 in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Tommy Frazier and Ray Napier officiating. Burial was in Cottongim Cemetery at Bull Creek. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
