| FRANCES LOUISE SAMPSON, 83, of Bellville, Texas, formerly of Fount, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2002 in the Bellville General Hospital. She was a daughter of the late James Oscar and Floy Dedman Kimbrell, born on Oct. 10, 1918 in Helena, Ark. She was a homemaker. Mrs Sampson was a member of the First Baptist Church in South Houston, Texas. On July 11, 1937, she united in marriage with David Todd Sampson Jr. in Mansville, La. and to this union three children were born. She is survived by three daughters, Floy Louise Wilkin and husband Jack of Kenney, Texas, and Jean Kimbrell Leppin and husband Marvin of Austin, Texas; two sisters, Patsy Spears, Tyler, Texas, and Sunshine Crone of Louisiana; eleven grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 14 great, great grandchildren. Graveside services were held in the Nan Riley Cemetery at Fount on May 15 with the Rev. Jimmy Siler officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Knox Funeral Home. |
