DOROTHY "Dot" GREGORY RAMSEY, 69, Cumberland Falls Hwy., Corbin, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2002 in St. Joseph Hospital at Lexington. She was born January 10, 1933 in Knox County to the late Greene and Margaret Mahan Gregory. She belonged to the Greenland Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Harold Dennis Ramsey whom she married June 28, 1952; one son, Stephen Ramsey and his wife, Patricia of Corbin; one daughter, Denise Ford and her husband, Larry of Corbin; one grandson, Brian Ford and wife, Carol of Monticello; one granddaughter, Cassie Ramsey of Corbin; three sisters, Lillie Holbrook, Ruth Partin and Martha Ratliff, all of Corbin; one brother, Willis Gregory of Hamilton, Ohio; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend, June Gray of Corbin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Imogene Harville and one brother, Paul Gregory. Funeral services were held Saturday, April 20 at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Mulberry and Rev. Joe Samples officiating. Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery. Pallbearers were Donald Bolton, Teddy Jaynes, Jeff Partin, James Partin, David Harville, Roy Harville, Harry Combs, and Jerry Fuller. O'Neil Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
