Wilma Gilbert Ralston (November 11, 1952 - December 9, 2007) Wilma Gilbert Ralston, age 55 of Big Richland in Knox County, passed away on Sunday December 9, 2007 at her Residence. She was the daughter of the late James M. Gilbert and Mahala Black Gilbert. Wilma was born on November 11, 1952 in Knox County, Kentucky. Wilma was a Homemaker and a member of the Mt. Arat Baptist Church. On July 24, 1973, she united in marriage with Thomas E. Ralston. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband Thomas, and her brothers, J.B, Harold, James, and Nathan Gilbert. Wilma is survived by her children, James Carson Ralston and wife Christie of Corbin. Jason Tyler Ralston of Big Richland. Mahala Belt and husband Raymond of London, and Angela Ralston of Big Richland. Seven Grandchildren. One brother, Carson Gilbert and wife Ileta of Big Richland. Her sisters, Jeree Gilbert of California, Jeanetta Trial, and husband Tommy of Lake Station, Indiana, and Mary Linda Balta, of North Carolina. She also leaves behind many other dear family and friends. Funeral services for Wilma Gilbert Ralston will be conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday December 13, 2007 at 2:00pm with Rev. Marlo Napier and Rev. Lonnie Collett officiating. Interment will follow in the Gilbert Family Cemetery with Family and Friends serving as pallbearers. The Ralston family will receive friends at Hopper Funeral Home on Thursday after 11:00am until the funeral hour at 2:00pm. Arrangements are under the direction of Hopper Funeral Home.
