Mary Partin Mrs. Mary Lovena Partin, age 75 of Artemus, KY departed this life on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at her home. She was born on February 28, 1932 and was the daughter of George Richard Davis and Lennie Jane Alford Davis. Mrs. Partin was a homemaker and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. She loved to sew and quilt, work puzzles and paint. She is preceded in death by her husband Merrill Matthew Partin, her parents, George and Lennie Davis, one son Michael Dewayne Partin, one brother Ted Ray Davis and one sister, Donna Jean Cottrell. Survivors include, one son, Terry Partin, four daughters, Belva Lake and husband Arvil of Kay Jay, Nikkie Partin of Kay Jay, Sherri Smith and husband Jerry of Dewitt, KY and Gloria and Troy Golden of Trosper, KY., one sister, Zella Metz and husband Don of Mansfield, Ohio. She also leaves behind five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren along with a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Mary Partin will be conducted on Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Rick Partin and Rev. Ronnie Owens officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Mrs. Martin will be laid to rest in the Burch Alford Cemetery at Trosper, KY. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
