OBITUARIES - Hamilton News Journal - Hamilton, Ohio - - Friday, February 2, 2007 Obituaries for: Phyllis E. SMITH PARSONS Phyllis E. PARSONS Phyllis E Parsons, age 61 of Hamilton, passed away at the home of her sister in London, Kentucky on Monday February 5, 2007. She was born in Barboursville, Kentucky on July 4, 1945 the daughter of Wilson and Sally (Garland) Smith. Phyllis was a nurse's aid at Golden Years Health Care for 18 years retiring in 1981. She was also employed at Allied Security, and Holzberger & Associates. Phyllis was a member of Princeton Pike Church of God and D.A.V. Ladies' Auxiliary. In 1962 in Hamilton she married Lewis E. Parsons who preceded her in death in 1989. She is survived by her son, Wilson (Stephanie) Parsons of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Michael, Kirstin, and Kaylen; three sisters, Vicky Hibbard and Wanda Griffith both of Lilly, Kentucky, and Troy (Ralph) Maverden of Springhill, Florida; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Dennis Smith. Funeral services will be held at Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave, Friday Feb. 9th at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 PM to 8 PM. |
