KENNETH RAY MESSER, 60, of Belton, MO, and formerly of Knox County, passed away in the Rocky Mountains, in Colorado, on June 5, 1999. A memorial service was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 26 at Mt. Moriah &Freeman Funeral home, his ashes to be scattered at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Rocky Mountain Rescue, PO Box Y, Boulder, CO, 80306, or the Air Safety Foundation, PO BOX 12888, Wichita, KS, 67277. Ken was born March 4, 1939, in Heidrick. He enlisted in the Air Force at 15 and was stationed in Denver, England, Germany, and Missouri. He retired from the Air Force at 35, and started his own dental lab business. Ken is survived by his wife, Gillian. |
