| Greg Menke, 42, of Union, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2003
after a sudden illness. Greg was born in Dayton, August 18, 1960, a 1978
graduate of Northmont High School and a 1982 graduate of Wright State
University where he was an assistant athletic trainer, retired Sgt.
after 18 years with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department where he
was once deputy of the year and deputy of the month several times,
previously EMS/Firefighter in Washington Twp., a baseball coach for
Englewood Youth Baseball for two years and was preceded in death by his
mother, Jewell C. Menke in 2002. Survived by his children, Caleb Daniel,
Aaron Joseph and Shelby Elizabeth; father, Urban Menke; brother,
Christopher, special friend, Jeanne Andres and numerous aunts, uncles,
nieces, nephews and friends. Mass of Christian Burial was at
Transfiguration Church, 972 Main Street, West Milton, Ohio with Father
John MacQuarrie officiating. Interment Clavary Cemetery. George C, Martin Funeral Home, 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road, was in charge of arrangements. |
