Larry Joe Mills, 27, of Mackey Bend, passed away Saturday, June 7, 2003 at his home. He believed in the Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife, Calista Mills of Mackey Bend; his parents, James and Mary Mills of Poplar Creek; two sisters, Barbara Sue Carpenter of Poplar Creek and Tammy Martin of Flat Lick; two brothers, James R. Mills and Clyde C. Mills, both of Poplar Creek. Services were conducted Wednesday, June 11, 2003 in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Mills and Danny Hembree officiating. Burial was in Partin Cemetery at Mackey Bend. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
