Leona Miller McKeehan, 90, of Bryants Store, a daughter of the late Rev. Jim and Nannie Powell, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2003 at her home. She was a former homemaker and member of Little Poplar Creek Baptist Church. Her husband, Eason McKeehan preceded her in death. She is survived by five children, Junior McKeehan and wife Jincy, Hazel Matlock and husband Rabb, all of Bryants Store, Thelma Powers of Williamsburg, Gladys Reeves and husband Bob of Barbourville and Charles McKeehan and wife Rita of Fairdale; three sisters, Mazzline Smith and husband Leonard of Baileys Switch, Cledia Mills of Rockhold and Verda Smith and husband Eugene of Grosse Island, Mich.; two brothers, Jim Miller of Baileys Switch and John Miller and wife Ivelene of Williamsburg; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great, great grandchil-dren. Services were conducted in Knox Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, June 29 with the Revs. Arnold Petrey and Ronnie Rose officiating. Burial was in Ketchen Cemetery at Bryants Store. Arrangements were under the direction of Knox Funeral Home. |
