Eloise SMITH LUNDY Mrs. Eloise Smith Lundy, 68, of Barbourville, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2007 in the Knox County Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Cletis and Pauline Pittman Smith born on November 1, 1938 in Binger, OK. Mrs. Lundy retired from the Midland Independent School District as a special education teacher. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Midland, TX and after moving to Barbourville attended the First United Methodist Church. Her interests included photography, art and her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Randall Lundy of Barbourville; three children, Mitchel Elgin and wife, Susan, and their children, Chance and Corbin, of Buffalo Gap, TX, Christopher Scot Elgin of Corvallis, OR and William Elgin of Seattle, WA; five step children, Nancy Weir, Jane Belazi, William Lundy, James Lundy and Ellen Williams; five step grandchildren, Randall and Catherine Weir, Patrick and Sean Lundy and Sophia Belazi; among other loved ones and dear friends who mourn her passing. A memorial service was conducted at the First United Methodist Church of Barbourville Thursday, January 25 at 4 P.M. with Rev. Joel Allen officiating. Expressions of sympathy my go to either the Al-Anon Program in care of the First United Methodist Church of Barbourville or the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements were under the direction of the KNOX FUNERAL HOME. |
