Herman Wesley Lawson, 92, Highway 92 East, Williamsburg, passed away Wednesday, October 15, 2003 at his home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Carr Lawson; his parents, Crit and Lottie Lawson; brothers, Green Henry Lawson and Hershel Ovie Lawson Ricket; nephews, Howard Faulkner, Jr. Ricket, Moris Ricket, Marvin Campbell; a niece, Wanda Campbell; and a brother-in-law, Will Faulkner. Survivors include a sister, Edna Lawson Faulkner of Williamsburg; several nieces and nephews, Clayton Faulkner of Burnside, Frank Faulkner of Lexington, Louetta Hamblin of Williamsburg, James Faulkner of Indiana, Shronia Jones of Williamsburg, Nadine Bearsden of Harlan, Ray Ricket of Florida, Maxzine Medlin of Harlan, Connie Rains, Loretta Bryant, and Wanda Cox, all of Williamsburg, Larry Lawson and Jhugg Campbell, both of Williamsburg. Funeral services were held Friday, October 17 at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Hamblin Jr. and Rev. Freddy Powers officiating. Burial was in the Maple Creek Cemetery. Ellison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
