| DUKIE JONES, 81, Harlan, passed away Thursday, January 7, 1999 at his residence in Harlan. He was the son of the late Hugh Jones Sr. and Faye Goff Jones Stone and was the husband of Frances Rich Jones of Harlan. Survivors include two son, Jeffery Jones and wife Penny of Knoxville, Tenn., John W. Jones and wife Heather of Harlan; one brother, Wallace (Wah Wah) Jones and wife Edna of Lexington; one sister, Jackie O'Dell and husband Johnny of Louisville; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at the Harlan Baptist Church on Sunday, January 10 at 2 p.m. with the Revs. John Ditty and Howard Farmer officiating. Burial followed in the Resthaven Cemetery at Keith, Ky. Anderson-Laws Funeral Home and Mt. Pleasant Funeral Home of Harlan were in charge of arrangements.
