Thomas Arnold Jackson Thomas Arnold Jackson, 97, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005 in Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin. He was a son of the late Asa H. Jackson and Mariah "Sis" Bolton Jackson and the husband of the late Maggie Lee Landrum Jackson. He was a member and deacon of Robinson Creek Baptist Church and a farmer. He is survived by his children, Mitchell Cress Jackson, Thomas Neal Jackson and Patricia Jackson Meagher and husband Michael; two grandchildren; and one great granddaughter; two sisters, Elva Hurst and Eula Jackson. Services were conducted at Robinson Creek Baptist Church , Laurel County, Saturday, Sept. 17 with the Revs. Dennis Chesnut and Geral Wells officiating. Burial was in Garland-Jackson Cemetery, on Long Branch, in Knox County. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
