| Beth Jackson (October 10, 1964 - October 3, 2008) Beth Jackson age 43, of Barbourville, was born on October 10, 1964,in Knox County. She was a daughter of the late William D. "Bill" Jackson and Lavena Marie West Jackson. Beth died Friday, October 3, 2008 at her residence. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Barbourville. Beth was the office manager for Dr. Michael Smith in Williamsburg. Beth is survived by her loving family, her sister, Connie Blevins and husband, Floyd of Heidrick; brothers; Charles Jackson and wife, Shirley of Williamsburg and Jerry Jackson of Barbourville; her nieces and nephews; Jamie Powers and husband,Travis; Regina Jackson, Carla Jackson, Rebekah Griffith, Brandon Griffith and wife, Samantha; Dillion Blevins and wife, Patty, Holly Elder and husband, Chris; several dear and beloved aunts and uncles and a special and dear friend, Susie Frazier of Williamsburg. Beth was preceded in death by a niece: Tara Elizabeth Griffith. Funeral Services for Beth Jackson will be conducted at the First United Methodist Church in Barbourville, Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. with Dr. Joel Allen, Rev. Denvil Taylor and Rev. Ernie Carmicle officiating. The burial will follow in the Terrell Cemetery at Swan Lake in Knox County with Patrick Hauser, Dr. Bob Dunnaway, Judge Lewis Hopper, Dr. Michael Smith, Jack Frazier and Brooks Napier serving as pallbearers. Contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church in loving memory of Beth Jackson. Friends will be received at the First United Methodist Church, Tuesday after 4:00 p.m. until the funeral hour at 5:00 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Hopper Funeral Home. |
