JOYCE HOWINGTON, 47, Emlyn, passed away Monday, May 13, 2002 at the Jellico Community Hospital, Jellico, Tennessee. Survivors include her daughter, Rebecca Lawson and husband, Roy of the Maple Creek Community, Williamsburg; two grandsons, Roy David Lawson and William Lee Lawson of the Maple Creek Community, Williamsburg; her mother, Rena Rains Patterson of Highway 904-E, Williamsburg; three sisters, Darlene Mullis and husband, Jessie of Goodin Creek, Alice Chandler and husband, Willard of 904-E, Williamsburg, and Patty Davidson and husband, Terry of Deep Branch Road, Williamsburg; three brothers, Monroe Patterson and wife, Joyce of Highway 904-E, Williamsburg, Chester Patterson and wife, Sherry of Highway 92-E, Williamsburg, and Raymond Patterson and wife, Connie of Highway 904-E, Williamsburg; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Patterson and a sister, Peggy Patterson. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 16 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating. Burial was in the Lawson Cemetery at Maple Creek. Croley Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. |
