Mrs. Edna Gray Hobbs, 75, of Flat Lick, the daughter of the late Dewey and Julie Mills Gray, passed away Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003 in Rockcastle County Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was the widow of Charlie Hobbs. She is survived by her two daughters, Julie Warfield and husband Ronald and Reatha Hobbs, all of Flat Lick; two sons, J.D. Hobbs and wife Hazel and Gennie Hobbs, all of Flat Lick; one son-in-law, Otis Gambrel of Flat Lick; two sisters, Lena Rice of Bimble and Ruah Hubbard and husband Burchell of Trosper; six brothers, Leaman Gray, Delbert Gray, Chris Gray and wife June, Thomas Gray and wife Edith, Charlie Gray and wife Irene and Eugene Gray and wife Virgie, all of Flat Lick; fifteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Monday, Jan. 20, 2003 with the Rev. Vincent Smith and the Rev. Charles Bright officiating. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
