Stanley Ray Henson Mr. Stanley Ray Henson, 72, of Baxter, Ky., formerly of Barbourville, a son of the late Roy and Mable Stewart Henson, passed away Friday in Green Hills Care Center in West Liberty, Ohio. He believed in the Baptist faith and was a retired logger. He united in marriage with Irene Skelton and one daughter was born. Later, he united in marriage with Rose Sifers and five children were born. He is survived by one son, Mark Allen Henson of Lexington; four daughters, Tena Davis and husband Jack of Artemus, Vicki Gambrel and husband Bobby of Barbourville, Sandra Garman and husband Anthony of Belle Fontaine, Ohio and Kimberly Mills and husband Larry Michael of Corbin; one stepdaughter, Darryel Jean Helton of Barbourville; one brother, Roy Henson Jr. and wife Ruby, also of Barbourville; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel Sunday, March 16, 2003 with the Rev. Rowland Bradshaw and Jerry Vaughn officiating. Burial was in Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
