| LAWRENCE HELTON, 63, of Barbourville, Ky., the son of Charity Patterson Helton and the late Earl Helton, was born in Knox County, Ky. on Feb. 1, 1939 and passed away at his home Saturday, May 11, 2002. Lawrence was a retired coal miner and member of the Davis Bend Chapel Baptist Church. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Charity Helton, Barbourville; three sisters, Ellen Frances Bull, Orange City, Fla., Cecile Hensley and husband Henry, Washburn, Tenn and Sue Baker, Barbourville. Funeral services were conducted in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 14, 2002 with the Rev. Junior Kelly, the Rev. Frank Elliott and the the Rev. Arnold Petrey officiating. Interment was in the Chance Cemetery at Indian Creek. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
