| DELBERT GRUBB, 50, of Heidrick and formerly of Bright Shade in Clay County, was born on June 15, 1949 at Bright Shade, died Thursday, March 9, 2000 at his residence. He was the son of Helen Grubb. He was a member of the following civic organizations, Barbourville Kiwanis Club, The Daniel Boone Festival Committee and I Believe in Santa Claus Committee. He was a United States Air Force Veteran, having served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post #3302 in London. On May 12, 1984, he united in marriage with Erma Louise Jones Jordan. Survivors include his wife, Erma Louise Grubb; his mother, Helen Grubb of Manchester. Funeral services were conducted in the Hopper Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, March 11 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jeffrey Branum and the Rev. Herman mills officiating. Burial followed in the Hutchins Cemetery at Bailey Switch. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
