Mr. Lee Ray Gray, 57, of Barbourville, Ky., a son of the late Zander and Myrtle Asher Gray, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003 in Knox County Hospital. He was a member of Candle Ridge Baptist Church and a disabled coal miner. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Hubbard Gray; three sons, the Rev. Tim Gray and wife Carry, Mike Gray and wife Julie and Jason Gray, all of Barbourville; one brother, Gary Gray and wife Linda, also of Barbourville; two sisters, Freda Gayle Bays and husband Charles of Artemus and Erma Goe and husband Ken of San Antonio, Texas; five grandchildren; one uncle, Paul Asher and wife Lois of Cincinnati, Ohio. Services were conducted Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003 in Hampton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sam Moore and the Rev. Don Napier officiating. Burial was in Coles Branch Cemetery at Hammond. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Candle Ridge Baptist Church in memory of Lee Ray Gray. |
