Dave EDWARDS Dave Edwards, 76, of Gray, passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2006 in Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin. He was a son of the late Rev. Tip Edwards and Mossie Combs Edwards. He was a member of the Gray Pentecostal Church and a heavy equipment operator. He first united in marriage with Sally Smith and later with Donna Hughes Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Donna Edwards; his children, D.T. Edwards and wife Rosa Lee, David Allen Edwards and wife Edna, Bennie Edwards and wife Marie, Richard Edwards, Peggy Edwards, Nettie Owens and husband Jack, Bonnie Miller and husband Jerry, Mossie Smith and husband Lewis, Betsy Lee Swafford and husband Tony, Wilma Lee Smith and husband Charles, June Mills and husband Lonnie and Christy Napier and husband Jeff; his former wife, Sally McVey; his brothers, Otis Edwards, the Rev. R.P. Edwards and wife Ailene, the Rev. Roy B. Edwards and wife Grace, Earl Edwards and wife Melissa, Andy Edwards and wife Barbara; his sisters, Alice Smith and Alta Helton and husband Jesse; 29 grandchildren; and 29 great grandchildren. Services were conducted in Hopper Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday, Feb. 28 with the Revs. Tommy Frazier and Owen Smith officiating. Burial was in Farris Hill Cemetery at Gray. Hopper Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
