Sheila CARTY DRAKE Ms. Sheila A. Carty Drake, 59, of North Fort Myers, FL, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at the home of her daughter in Horsham, PA. Sheila Anne Carty Drake was born in Barbourville on February 8, 1949 and was the daughter of Barbara Corey Carty and the late Rex O. Carty. Ms. Drake was a long time resident of Middletown, OH where she was a Purchasing Manager for Jefferson Smurfit Corporation for over 15 years. Sheila enjoyed spending time at her lake house in Tennessee with family and friends. Survivors include a daughter, Dawn Michele Fawns Spera of Horsham, PA; a son, Rex M. Fawns of Houston, TX; her mother, Barbara C. Carty of Rye, NH; two sisters, Linda K. Allen, wife of Jim McMaken, of Middletown, OH and Barbara Dunkle of Rye, NH; a grandson, Adam T. Spera of Horsham, PA; among other loved ones and dear friends. Her funeral service will be conducted at the New Bethel Baptist Church Saturday, December 13 at 2 P.M. with Rev. Shane Nickell officiating. Ms. Drake will be laid to rest in the New Bethel Cemetery.Casket bearers will be family and friends. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday between 11 A.M. and 1 P.M. Ms. Drake will then be taken to the New Bethel Baptist Church for her funeral service. Local arrangements are under the direction of the Knox Funeral Home. |
