| JAMES KENNETH CARTY, 79, of Charlotte, Tennessee, was born on December31, 1919 in Knox County and passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 1999 at his home in Tennessee. He was the son of the late Charles Franklin Carty and the late Mable (Brown) Carty. On January 1, 1942 he united in marriage with Betty Jackson. He was a retired truck driver. Survivors include his wife, Betty Carty of Charlotte, Tenn. Funeral services for Mr. Carty were conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 17, 1999 at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Joe McKinney and the Rev. Jimmy Siler officiating. Burial followed in the Carty Family Cemetery at Girdler. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
