GUARDIAN'S BOND
The Commonwealth of Kentucky
    Whereas, Faris Hays has been appointed by the County Court of Knott county, and qualified as Guardian to Delmas Hays age 5 yrs, a Minor: Polly Hays
    NOW WE, Faris Hays, as principal, and (J. B. Smith crossed out) L. C. Slone his sureties, do hereby covenant to and with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, sum of Three hundred dollars that the said Faris Hays will faithfully discharge the trust of Guardian to said Minor, in all respects as required by law.
