I Jack Sturgill of Hindman Knott County Kentucky being 66 years of age and being of sound mind and memory do make this my last Will and Testament.
1st: I direct that all my just debts and burial expenses be paid by my administrator out of my personal estate.
2nd: I will and bequeath to Maryann Sturgill my wife, Mack Sturgill, David Sturgill, Margarett Sturgill ??? all my real estate situated in Knott County Kentucky on the Perkins Branch of Troublesome Creek and known as my home farm where I now live and bounded by the lands of Albert Madden, Mose Miller & containing 65 acres more or less.
3rd: I will and bequeath to my son James Sturgill the sum of $1.00 out of my personal estate which is to be his entire interest in my said estate.
4th: I will and bequeath to Rebecca Gibson my daughter & Sarah Taylor, my daughter and Bill Sturgill my son each the sum of $1.00 to be paid out of my personal estate and which is to include their entire interest in my said estate.

This day came in open court John Sturgill and Tim Perkins who stated that the forgoing instrument of writing this day filed for probate is the last will and Testament of Jack Sturgill, the said will was written by John Sturgill one of the subscribing witnesses thereto and that Tim Perkins was one of the subscribing witnesses ???

??? ??? ??? and at his request was signed by John Sturgill and Timy Perkins as witnesses thereto in his presence and in the presence of each other.
It is therefore ordered by the court that the said will be filed, which is done, and the same is probated as the last will and Testament of Jack Sturgill and the Clerk of the Knott County Court is ordered and directed to record the same as the last will and Testament of Jack Sturgill.
