LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

FRANCIS JOHNSON
Book 1 Page 15 In the Name of God Amen Know all men by these presence that I, Francis Johnson, wife of Leslie Johnson of (?Harrison?) County my being advanced in years and of feeble health but of sound mind and fully realizing the uncertainty of my life and the certainty of death, do make this my last will and testament to take affect at my death. 1st I will and bequeath to my husband Leslie Johnson for the time of his natural life every species of property real personal or mixed or any rights or equities I possess in any property wherever situated including all household goods furniture , etc. that I now possess to have and to hold and to use as long as he lives. At his death, I desire that my daughter Kate Sarver to the exclusion of any and all other heirs to inherit my entire estate consisting of real estate and personal property. I therefore will and bequeath to my said daughter Kate Sarver the farm on which we now live and for a ___particular boundary and description thereof I hereby refer and for that purpose make a part herefore the deed of John A. Draughen, Master Commissioner of the Knott Circuit Court to myself to have and hold to her and her heirs forever with every character of property real personal or mixed or any equities that I may possess in any property wherever located and she to have and take possession of every thing that I own or possess on the death of my husband, her father, Leslie Johnson. Now in regard to my grandchild, Leslie Johnson, son of William Johnson, dead, I have heretofore make all the provisions that I desire to make for him__________. and for the County and State aforesaid certify that the foregoing
will of Francis Johnson was on this day produced in open court and
proven as required by law to be the last will and testament of
Francis Johnson dec'd by the oath of R. S. May and Jasper Baker two
subscribing witnesses thereto and the will ordered to be admitted to
probate. State of Kentucky I, R. H. Amburgey, Clerk of the County Court certify that the foregoing will of Francis Johnson having been admitted to probate as required by law and no exceptions having been taken to the same was this day lodged in my office for record on the order of the Knott County Court and that I have recorded said will together with this and the foregoing certificate as required by statutes.
