LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT

Thomas Ray Grigsby
Will Book 1 Page 71 The Last Will and Testament of Thomas Ray Grigsby I Thomas Ray Grigsby of Cordis in the County of Knott and State of Kentucky of the age of Twenty eight years of sound mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in the manner following. FIRST I give and devise to Sampson B. Grigsby one tract or parcel of land being on rocky branch in Knott County, Ky and bounded as follows. Running from Goodloe Grigsbys line on Rocky branch across by large rock to Wash Martins line thence running with Wash Martins line and Ben (?Stamp?) line to top of ridge at head of rocky branch thence down top of ridge with Sim Banks line to Goodloe Grigsbys line thence with Goodloe Grigsbys line back to the beginning including forty acres more or less. To have and to hold the same to the said Sampson Grigsby his heirs and assigns forever. And I do hereby nominate and appoint Sampson B. Grigsby to be executor for this my last will and testament for said tract of land and hereby revoke all former wills to said tract of land above bounded and described and I do direct that my said executor be not oblige to give bond as such.
