I Shade Combs of the County of Knott and State of Kentucky of the age of thirty-nine years and being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in the following manner.
First: I direct my executor hereinafter named to pay out of my real estate (consisting of one tract of land with all of its improvements, situated on Yellow Creek of Carrs fork in Knott County Kentucky and bounded as follows, to wit:
Beginning on a stone on the line of the Kentucky River Coal Corporation and Shade Combs, thence running down Yellow Creek with its ??? to the line of D. Combs, thence crossing the bottom with line of said D. Combs to the rail road right of way, thence up said Yellow Creek with said right of way to the line of Kentucky River Coal Corporation, thence Crossing the bottom with line of said corporation to the beginning.
All of my just debts as soon as possible out of the proceeds of my real estate which I desire to be sold and paid off immediately after my death.
Second: I give and bequeath unto my wife Lina Combs seven hundred $700 dollars out of the money received for said tract of land, the same to be ??? in Bank to the credit of Lina Combs by the executor whom I will name him.
Third: I hereby appoint Sam Combs as the sole executor of this my last will and testament, thereby revoking all my former wills at any time made by me.
In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this 2nd day of April 1926.

The forgoing instrument was on the date hereof signed, sealed and published by the said testator, Shade Combs for his last will and testament in the presence of us, who at his request, and in the presence of each other have subscribed out names as witnesses thereto.

I John Sturgill, Clerk of the Knott County Court, do certify that the forgoing will was on the 19th day of April 1926 filed for probate and lodged for record and that I have this day duly recorded the same together with this certificate in my said office in Will Book No. 1, page 167.
