Will Book 1 Page 119 August 3, 1904 I, Frazier Adams of (?eitch?) Knott Co., Kentucky of the age of (63 sixty three) years and of good sound and disposing mind and memory do make publish and declare this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say: First I direct my wife hereinafter named to pay out of my estate as soon as possible after my decease all my just debts together with the expenses of my last sickness and my funeral and testamentary expenses. Second I give my and bequeath to my wife Sally Adams all the real and personal estate and every thing belonging to me at my death to be received by her in lieu of dower and in (?full?) of all claim out of my estate. ?Sixth? I hereby appoint Sally Adams the sole executor of this my last will hereby revoking all wills by me at any time made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 3 day of Aug. 1904. Frazier (his mark) Adams (Seal) The foregoing instrument was the date thereof signed sealed published and declared by the said testator Frazier Adams as and for his last will and testament in the presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto. The foregoing instrument of writing herein purporting to be the last will and testament of Frazier Adams deceased was this day produced in open court for probate. It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court from the evidence of J.W. Combs and John Hampton that the deceased Frazier Adams departed this life on the --- day of --- 1917 domiciled at the time of his death in Knott County, Kentucky leaving as his last will and testament the forgoing instrument of writing which the said John Hampton this day filed in open court and ask that the same be probated. Whereupon came John W. Combs and John Hampton Will Book 1 Page 120(top) two of the subscribing witnesses thereto and after being duly sworn stated that the said instrument of writing was and is the last will and testament of the deceased Frazier Adams and that the said Frazier Adams signed and acknowledged and declared the said instrument of writing to be his last will and testament in the presence of the subscribing witnesses, J.W. Combs, M.E. Combs and John Hampton and that they the said subscribing witnesses signed and attested said instrument of writing as witnesses thereto in the presence of the said Frazier Adams and at his request and in the presence of each other. Therefore, it is ordered by the court that the said instrument is and the same is now adjudged to be the last will and testament of the said Frazier Adams and the same is hereby admitted to probate as such and ordered to be recorded and admitted to record as the last will and testament of the said Frazier Adams deceased. State of Kentucky County of Knott I, W. T. Francis, Clerk of the County Court in and for the County and state aforesaid certify that the foregoing will of Frazier Adams deceased was on the 20th day of Aug 1917 lodged for probate and that I have truly recorded the same together with (?---?) of probate and this certificate in my said office.
