Solomon Ritchie.

Solomon Ritchie 9^th and last child of Isom Ritchie and Martha Patrick, he was raised and lived mostly with his older brother Hiram Edward Ritchie and his other brother Henry Crocket Ritchie lived next door to each other in Logan Co, Arkansas, Solomon Ritchie lived back and forth between them.

Solomon Ritchie born ca 1854 in Madison Co, Arkansas, married Martha E Harris, she was the daughter of James Jackson Harris and Julia Ann Collins.

Solomon & Martha E (Harris) Ritchie children were:

1.John William Ritchie b, Feb 1^st, 1881 in Pettigrew, Arkansas, married Bessie Kaylor.

2. Hiram Eli Ritchie b, Feb 26^th, 1884 in Pettigrew, Arkansas, died Feb 21^st, 1957, married Minnie M Acord.

3. James Nicholas Ritchie b, Nov 7^th, 1887, died 1908 married Dora Gilbert.

4. Minnie Mae Ritchie b, March 27^th, 1893, died Feb 17^th, 1957.

5. Polly Jane Ritchie b, Sept 7^th, 1894 in Pettigrew, Arkansas, died Aug 27^th, 1982, married John T Hignite.

6. Mary Anna Ritchie b, July 17^th, 1898, died 1900.

7. Jessie Coleman Ritchie b, July 12^th, 1901, Died March 11^th, 1969, married Bertha Riley.
