Hugh Patrick was born abt 1779 in Va, he was the son of James Patrick and Margaret ?, Hugh Patrick  married Barbara Bailey May 11^th, 1809 in Floyd County, Kentucky.

Hugh moved to from Kentucky to Madison County, Arkansas in 1838, with his cousin Robert Patrick, he died August 28^th, 1845 in Madison County, Arkansas, he was buried at his homeplace, off Highway 23, Fleming Creek area, Madison County, Arkansas..

 Barbara Bailey was born abt 1794 in Va, she was the daughter of Joseph Bailey, who was born abt 1760, died 1838 in Magoffin County, Kentucky and Martha Patsy Brashears who was born abt 1765 in Va.

Barbara died 1864 – 1865 in Madison County, Arkansas,  she was buried at the homeplace, off highway 23, Fleming Creek, Madison County, Arkansas.

Barbara is on the 1860 Mooney Township Census, Madison County, Arkansas, as Patsy, as Age 60 years old and living with Grandson Robert Ritchie.
