Tragedy of Two Towers

I've seen humans lie and cheat
Just give up, and accept defeat.
I've seen the pain of true love lost,
But can it measure to this cost?
Two planes crashed for a cold man's fight,
Forced off the path of their guided flight.
This tragedy thought of only in lore,
Because of a man who believes he leads a "Holy" war?
Anger rages at the tragedy of this loss,
People hoping to capture the terrorists boss.
Fear struggling to surface to make a panic,
For if this can happen, can something more tragic?
But, now all we can do is hope and pray,
That these cruel people can be stopped someday!
UNCOMMON VALOR LIVES IN THE HEART OF ALL AMERICANS
You monster. You beast. You unspeakable bastard.
What lesson did you hope to teach us by your coward's attack on our
World Trade Center, our Pentagon, us? What was it you hoped we would learn?
Whatever it was, please know that you failed.
Did you want us to respect your cause? You just damned your cause.
Did you want to make us fear? You just steeled our resolve.
Did you want to tear us apart? You just brought us together.
